8 Eyebrow-Blessed Celebs and the Exact Products Makeup Artists Use on Them (2025)

It's no secretcelebritieshave access to the bestskincare experts in the industry. Honestly, theycould easily walk red carpets and attend events completely barefaced sans any kind of makeup. But they also have access to the best makeup artists, and playing around with makeup is (subjectively)fun—whether you're a celeb or not. It's also no secret that things like mascara, foundation, andlipstick can make us feel a tad more confident in ourselves and our ability to tackle whatever kind of insanity life chooses to chuck at us. (Of course, if you happen to feel more heroic barefaced, we love that, and to each their own!)

The subject of eyebrows, however, is important to address. They frame our face, and depending on their shape, thickness, or lack thereof, they can completely alter the way our face looks.Brow makeupis unique compared to other types of cosmetic products because unlike a statement lipstick, shimmering eye shadow, or a pop of colorful eyeliner, we don't want our brow products to shout from the rooftops. Instead, we want our brow makeup to perfect and enhance our natural brow shape while taking a back seat to the features or products we are trying to show off.

Since the best brow makeup is usually completely undetectable or unidentifiable, we decided to reach out to three top makeup artists who coif the arch-blessed likes of Yara Shahidi, Lucy Hale, Laura Harrier, Karlie Kloss, and more to find out the precise brow formulas they use to make their clients look like they were born with brows blessed from the heavens. Ahead, eight celebrities with great brows and the exact products their makeup artists use on them—tips included. Keep scrolling!

The Products & Process

"First I use MAC CosmeticsEyeshadow in Omega ($17) to fill in as the base," explains celebrity makeup artist Bob Scott. "Then, I take Estée Lauder'sThe Brow Multitasker 3-in-1 Tool ($29) and create hairlike strokes where needed, before setting the brows. I brush them up and toward the ear with the brand'sBrow Now Stay-in-Place Brow Gel ($36).

"Omega is the powder base I use on most blondes—it's theOGold-faithful brow powder. I apply it with a slightly larger and stiffer angled brush (larger and stiffer than an angled brush one would use for, say, a gel eyeliner). The Estée Lauder brow pencil and gel are a perfect duo for quick and easy full brows."

The Products & Process

"Depending on how strong we want to go with the brows, I'll alternate between just using the StilaStay All Day Waterproof Brow Color ($21) and using that pen on top of a powder base," Scott explains.

If they're opting for the powder base, Scott uses the Anastasia Beverly HillsBrow Powder Duo ($23)—usually in shades Chocolate or Dark Brown—to create a base shape for Bronfman before filling in and perfecting the brow shape with the pen from Stila. To finish, they reach for Surratt Beauty'sExpressioniste Brow Pomade ($26).

"I love the Stila brow pens to create realistic hairlike strokes," Scott tells us. "This technique works best when layered, first with soft and slim lines, then built up to create thicker lines where the natural hairs would be. A touch of powder helps to set the ink from the pen and keep the brows matte. Then, I take the Brow Pomade, clean off the applicator a little, and brush the hairs up and toward the top of the ear."

The Products & Process

"Lucy already has really amazing, full brows, so I love to use the Dior'sDiorshow Brow Styler Ultra-Fine Precision Brow Pencil ($29) on her because of the small tip," explains celebrity makeup artist Kelsey Deenihan. "I brush her brows up and use light, small strokes to create tiny, realistic brow hairs."

"I use Chanel'sLa Palette Sourcils de Chanel Brow Powder Duo ($50) on Hailee," Deenihan says. "She already has beautiful brows, so I use this powder to enhance the shape and add some additional dimension. It's such a great palette because it also comes with mini tweezers, an angled brush, and a spoolie to brush them up throughout the night."

The Products & Process

Celebrity makeup artistEmily Cheng tells us that on Shahidi, she uses a mix of three different products from Bobbie Brown: the Perfectly Defined Long-Wear Brow Pencil ($45), theWaterproof Brow Shaper ($29), and theBrow Kit in Dark ($50).

"If I'm creating a fuller brow, I'll use the powder to create a soft shape underneath the brow and then use the pencil to draw hairlike strokes in any of the sparse areas," Cheng tells us. "I then finish with the clear brow gel to hold everything in place. If I'm doing a more natural look on Yara, as she already has full brows, I'll just go in and create hairlike strokes in sparse areas and comb through with the clear waterproof gel."

The Products & Process

"For Kerry, I use Neutrogena'sNourishing Eyebrow Pencil in Dark Brown ($23)," shares Cheng. "This product has a soft matte finish, so I use it slightly tilted to shade in the brow. I will then re-sharpen the pencil and go in to create hairlike strokes for a natural, fluffy finish. It's a great two-in-one option and has a spoolie on the end as well."

The Products & Process

"I actually have theBrow Pro Palette($88) from Anastasia Beverly Hills, which I always carry with me," says Cheng. "You can do brows on anyone with this palette! The powder is pigmented so you can use a sharp-angled brush if you want to create hairlike strokes or use a fluffier angle brush to create a softer cast of color. I'll usually do both, and then if there are any larger 'holes' left in the brow, I'll use the brand'sBrow Wiz in Ebony ($23) to fill it in.

"Always remember to go light-handed with brow application so you're not left with a severe finish," Cheng warns. "Also, brushing them out with a spoolie throughout the entire process helps comb out any dark spots. I also love Surratt Beauty'sExpressioniste Brow Pomade ($26). It has incredible hold and allows you to create that really fluffy finish. Use it sparingly, as it's strong, and because the pomade is white, it can leave a film if you apply too much. But it's one of my faves!"
